Mr. Hu has been the President & CEO since the company was founded. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Xiamen University, a master’s degree from Fordham University, and an Executive MBA from Peking University. He has over 30 years of industry management experience and has extensive marketing and resource integration capabilities.
Jacky Wang, CEO
Jacky Wang is a petroleum engineer with a Master’s and PhD from the University of Calgary and over twenty years across the Canadian heavy crude value chain — midstream logistics and downstream heavy oil processing. As CEO of Advantage Petroleum Inc., he leads API’s crude-by-rail, container, and pipeline supply chain, moving Canadian heavy crude to Asian refineries with discipline in safety, environmental responsibility, and integrity.
Kris Ren, CFO
Ms. Ren oversees the company's finance and administration. She holds a master's degree in International Management from Australian National University and a bachelor's degree from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.
Jason Wang, Investment Director & General Manager of Hong Kong office
Jason Wang is the Investment Director and General Manager of Advantage Petroleum Inc.'s Hong Kong office, leading the company's capital strategy and Asian-market business development. A Stanford PhD in Management Science & Engineering and holder of the CFA, FRM, CAIA, and FDP designations, he is a veteran investment banker specializing in M&A and financing advisory — connecting Canadian heavy-crude supply with Asian refinery demand through API's rail, container, and pipeline supply chain.
Tess Sui, VP of Operation
Ms. Sui has been leading the operations of API since the company was founded. Her team covers the API operations in Canada and the United States. Ms. Sui has more than two decades of experiences in transportation and logistics. Pior to joining API, Ms. Sui took various management positions in Canada and the United States. She holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering.
